The APC inverter is great, but they have just released a new item I got the other day at CompUSA - they have put power into a notebook carrying case. It will power any brand of notebook with the tips that come with the case and via a separate USB power cable your PDA and cellular phone. All this for $100. You don't need to carry your power inverters for notebook, PDA or cell as the case will power all three from its built in power inverter. The USB power cables were $20 each, but the inverter, tips for all the notebooks and power inverter were all included for $100. Also the power cable that comes out from the case has a removable head, so you can plug the in/air adapter for in air seat use; a cigarette lighter head for car use, and they were also selling again for $20 an international travel kit with all the various power heads needed for around the world.
