Bill .. which Sony do you have?

I bought an Xtend Micro empower adaptor. It came with a 'cable' for my F480. They basically have two models of the brick: a low power one and a higher power one, and then they have various cables for it that produce the correct voltage for your laptop. The cable is the part that goes from their brick to your laptop. The end that plugs in to the power source is the empower adaptor, but it also came with a cigarette lighter adaptor for car use, or perhaps for use on AA.

As I recall, they didn't have the listing category set up properly for the PCG-F480, so I used the link and sent them email. They responded within a day with the ordering information and had fixed the links.

You can also purchase the cable part only for the adaptor in case you switch laptops later on.
