There were no point to talk to the first Barclays CS for waiving AF. They always say no.
I also got my Ink Bold AF with only 7K spent waived two week ago. Unlike Barclays CS, any Chase CS can waived the AF on the spot.
For people who are saying they got fees waived by supervisors, did the first CS rep just transfer you to a rep in the retention department, or did you actually end up speaking with a supervisor within the retention department (so 3 people total)?
I've gotten the AF waived on 2 cards before by just talking to a rep in the retention department, so I'm trying to find out if people are now having to go to the supervisor within the retention dept to get the fee waived.
