Many many years ago my time at LIM coincided with the Pope (or was that visa versa?). Definitely more checks and guards doing more random sweeps at gates etc. Even took me to the washroom to do a more in depth. Back then there was no security room, it was the old LIM.

They found I had a small pouch of white powdery substance. Took a while to convince them it was salt.)
