You definitely should at least point out that the 'sticker'-ing was not done. If you read some experience(s) upthread you will discover that things can be resolved at the airport, but why not be proactive.
LH completely moved over from a DCS designed in the 80s (Unisys-Pictures)to the 2010s (Amadeus Altea) last month after a 6 month transition, so staff are mostly uncomfortable with the new system and when in doubt will fall back to the 'computer says no' alternative. Some have an ego (or better more important things to sort out) that prevents them from calling the eticket helpdesk. So be prepared.
