Just hoping it won't go much above 75K miles and $200 or so in early to mid-November if I book early to mid September.

Seems possible that I will be OK with only 75K miles and $200 because that would be less than about 1 cent per Skymile in value, if a cash only ticket would be less than USD 1000. (At one cent per Skymile, 75,000/100 = $750; and early November is usually cheaper than $1000 RT.)
