Any tips for maximising BA Flight Sim experience ?

Hi all,

Haven’t been posting much of late on here, but thought I’d dip back in with a wee question…..

I’ve been gifted a voucher for a “flight” on one of BA’s 747 flight sims, at their Cranebank training centre. I’ll be booking my “flight” for some time in July & in all honesty, I just can’t wait

I know that some on here have done this & indeed there’s another group booking in the offing for later this year. So I thought I’d ask for any hints or tips that would help maximise my experience.
I don’t know how open the staff will be to requests, but I’m hoping at the very least to do a take off & landing at LHR, as to do that for real, having done so as a passenger so many times in the past would be just so cool ^

Any other recommendations for what I should try to do while I’m there ?
