Let's say I book a trip (international flights and hotel) and then cannot go because either:

1) my company changes its mind and decides I can't take time off, or

2) I change jobs and my new company won't give me those days off.

Is there any insurance that would cover this situation? Credit card trip cancellation protection would be great (I have Amex Platinum and Visa Signature) but I don't mind paying a bit for another insurance if necessary.
