I am traveling YYZ-YYC-YVR, while she is traveling YYZ-YYC only.
Two questions:
1. Can we both use priority check-in?;
2. AC says that checking bags on a Tango fare with no status means you have to pay $20. My sister and I are on the same flight upto YYC. To avoid paying the $20 is it possible for me to check-in her bag on my name and flight, but only upto YYC? (I would never do this for a stranger, but since we are siblings, I trust her). 2a. Are there any complications I/we should be aware of?
1. Yes
2. In theory it is possible for you to short check luggage you have while not short checking the other. However if you check in at the same time the ruse becomes very obvious and is against the rules. Any trained agent would deny.
