As you might imagine, there can be an awful lot of people standing line to be rerouted when a flight is cancelled. I stood in line with everyone else but rang BA at the same time. They sorted me out on the phone long before I got anywhere near the front of the line. In my case, I had to make a quick dash to CDG. I kept my taxi receipts and phone bill and BA very quickly reimbursed me those out-of-pocket expenses.
Good advise. Yes. I knew OS is not the code for Open Skies.
So the plan is:
a) Flight canceled 4 hours or more before take off. - Call AA
b) Flight canceled within 4 hours of take off - Deal with at BA counter
c) Flight delayed so don't make connection deal with BA at counter (don't have a phone).
ORY has a One World lounge (IBERIA) will the agents there be able to help me?
Thx.
