To OP: You're getting a lot of different info here. There're different options, and they're all correct. You can have it delivered on a set date, you can have it delivered the next day and have hotel C hang onto it, etc. The bottom-line: just tell the staff at hotel A what you need, and they'll take care of you (including helping to fill out the delivery company's form).
It's helpful to them if you can show them the Japanese version of your next hotel's web page, which should contain its address in kanji. (Due to the peculiarities of Japanese script, the kanji "spelling" of a place name may not be obvious.)
Printing out the Japanese web pages of your various hotels is a good idea anyway. If your hotel is not one of the large, famous ones, giving the cab driver a copy of its web page can simplify the process of finding it. On my last trip, even the map on the web page was confusing, but the page listed the hotel's phone number, so the driver took out his cell phone and asked the front desk for the hotel's mailing address, which he then entered into his GPS.
