I flew SCL-DFW-OGG on US coded AA operated = class and got 100% plus 100% Comodoro bonus so it does work. According to my sources it took quite an effort to push AA to adopt the new earning scheme and knowing LAN it would take forever to have US to implement the new system. I do think this will obviously end as soon as US flight numbers cease to exist..
