As an EXP you could get dinner and/or drinks at the Flagship Lounge, and if in Row 21 or the first row of MCE, it's a relatively quick flight across the pond and save 30,000 miles.
That would be my choice as well. JFK-LHR can easily clock in at under 6 hours in the air. Not worth the hassle to connect in LHR or use up the extra miles for that short of time in a J cabin, IMO.
