Looking at all the advice in this forum, I think I'll avoid renting a car, as no one in my family has experience driving on the left. We'll be based in Dublin and basically have 3 full-days to explore - Saturday, Sunday, Monday. (Quick note - without going into painful details, for these three days, we're going to defer Newgrange/Knowth and Dublin city.)
My two questions for the experts...
- does anyone have recommendations for bus/tour operators?
- any must-do itineraries/attractions?
I've been looking at Viator's website (
http://www.viator.com/Dublin-tours/D...ps/d503-g5-c15), and I think the ones that interest my family would be:
- Cliffs of Moher, which swings through Limerick
- Blarney/Cork/Cashel (yes, I know it's touristy/cheesy, but I think we want to check it off our bucket list

)
- maybe Kilkenny/Glendalough?
Have also found a few other tour companies that seem somewhat reputable, but would appreciate input:
- Daytours.ie (
http://daytours.ie/)
- Irish Day Tours (
http://www.irishdaytours.ie/)
Thanks!
