The website says this hotel is about two miles from the City Center which, depending on the terrain, seems easily walkable. We will also be visiting friends in Insadong. Is this a reasonably short taxi ride?
Grateful for any tips/suggestions.
Hi there,

I last stayed there in December but the wi-fi was okay and shower consistency was fine. It didn't turn too wildly hot or cold. Wasn't Mandarin Oriental perfect either. This was for the Executive Skyview room.

City center. Well, where do you mean exactly? You COULD walk to City Hall and some Palaces but easier to take a cheap taxi. 2 miles is huge in Seoul. As for Insadong, this hotel is perhaps the one of the closest to there. You could even walk there from the hotel. Just follow Jongno street and the Line 1 subway station then turn right at Samsung Tower, Jonggak intersection. Taxi would be cheap too. No more than 5 dollars perhaps.
