If you are only carrying double luggage one way, may I suggest a trick I've employed in the past. Have two sizes of suitcase..preferably one being bigger than you actually need. then simply pop the smaller up to 23 Kilos (minus the weight of your larger case) into the big one for part of the journey.. Am sure someone will lend you a case if you don;t have two sizes of your own.
