The secret of the TG domestic lounge is the "outdoor" area at the back of the lounge - much nicer than the drab interior! That said, if you want something decent to eat, just go to the little food court before you go down the departure concourse - but better selection of things. Not free of course, but sometimes you have to give up on the free stuff and have some standards (heresy for Flyertalk, I know!)
