Specify the future date (up to 7 days) and time slot for delivery. It will be delivered on that date. For hotel deliveries, they usually arrive early even when I ask for 4-6pm.

Better hotels don't mind holding on to your delivery for days. Business hotels and small hotels, not so much and may actually refuse delivery.

I never pre-notify hotels re. parcel deliveries.
