The person who wrote it may have never been on an aircraft in his/her life, whereas this forum is jam packed with people who fly BA day in, day out. If you want somewhere quiet in SEA beforehand then there are all sorts of nooks and crannies to that airport, with good views, and rather more spacious than the 2 BA rooms.
I would be horrified if the agents in Manchester had a good chuckle about this.
This is one of the worst responses from BA that I have ever seen. I would hope that the staff in Manchester would be mortified at how shoddily a premium BA customer has been treated, and would pass this on to someone in the company who could arrange for the agent who wrote this reply to be disciplined / terminated.
