Hotels.com - Booking 3 Separate Reservations or One for a Three Night Stay

I booked a hotel on hotels.com about a month ago - a refundable reservation.

Now I see that some of the nights (but not all) have gone down in price for a new booking - and some have gone up. Of course, I can't selectively cancel nights.

So the question - if I need to book 3 consecutive nights, assuming no advertised discount for multiple nights, does it cost the same to book 3 separate nights as one 3-day itinerary? Other than the hassle factor, that would seem to put one in the best position to take advantage of later price shifts.
