Any recommendation on a small, lightweight shortwave radio that really works? Anybody own the credit-card-size Grundig?

A few years back I bought a Sony shortwave radio that I tagged along my various forays in Asia. Not once did I manage to listen to BBC World or Voice of America without constantly tweaking the tuner. I'm wondering if the technology has finally advanced to be really useful. Thanks!
