I have the Pres Plus card with the UC membership, and did not convert my flex miles this year so therefore have no status as my flying is somewhat infrequent. The value of the flex miles, redeemable miles, plus other benefits such as the Avis partnership (now updated to Hertz), have made the value of the card more than the annual fee so I'm happy.

The benefit of being also being able to meet friends and family at the gate at IAH, plus also spending time with them until boarding has been priceless. Once through security, all terminals are easily accessible there.

So not a big benefit that many people can take advantage of, but I am one of the few
