My team had a very pleasant stay here last week - I was there for three nights, two of my teaming partners were there for one. We expect to have 7 trips over 18 months, and the consensus was that we're going to stay at the Palomar for all of them.

Pros:
- Very comfortable and stylish but not over the top
- Great location for accessing the State complex along 17th St
- Valet staff was outstanding and friendly
- Lots of food options both within CityScape and over by Chase/US Airways, and a CVS close by.
- My meetings were scheduled to end at 1:15pm and my flight was at 6:45pm - no problems coming back and using the valet parking and walking over to Eos to work out to kill some time.
- Iced coffee at Breakfast Club

Cons: Surprisingly, it revolved around F&B.
- At Blue Hound, everything seemed to have one gratuitously unnecessary and undesirable ingredient in it. I thought the arctic char I had was prepared well, but my colleagues struggled finding something to order.
- BH beverage prices were on the high side, even for a hotel. We're not in NYC or SF, folks...
- Breakfast Club doesn't enable charging to the room
- Split-floor level between checkin and Blue Hound meant that the common spaces were a little disjointed.
