Quick Q:

If you request an upgrade 6 months out, but AA clears all upgrdes at 20 days, will they charge you based on when THEY clear it?

ie can they basically add $75 to every mile upgrade?

(As an EP/CK for 14 years, I am totally ignorant on these charges. Paying $150 plus miles for a domestic upgrade seems so....I dunno, unfair, outrageous, not worth it, a rip off...)
