Are there Internet in Singapore where you can plug in your own laptop via wired or wireless Ethernet, rather than just use the provided computers?

I know about the free one in Changi airport, but apparently that's restricted to passengers in departure or transit (or is it accessible to the public?)

Any help would be appreciated!

Conrad has high speed internet in the room, via ethernet (cable is in the desk) for 20 SGD per (24 hr) day.

I think that you could ask any Internet Cafe for an ethernet connection via your own PC, paying the regular hourly rate. I almost did this recently but didn't want to lug my notebook. Forgot to ask if I could do this.

At Changi, both terminals, you can plug into ethernet (free) with your own PC. (in addition to 802.11 and even IR connectivity).

I've NEVER been able to get 802.11 to work at Changi. I'm pretty sure I was getting a signal but I could not 'associate' with any access point(s). I did not have an SSID, nor could I determine what it might be.

Hilton has high speed internet in the room via ethernet, for 35 SGD per 24 hr day.
