Experience with lost & found service? Stuffbak or Boomerangit?

Has anyone had any experience with either Stuffbak (www.stuffbak.com) or Boomerangit (www.boomerangit.com) lost & found service?
Both are quite similar. You buy small tags with a unique serial number that you affix to your valuables (PDA, laptop, camera, watch, etc.) and then register with the service.
If you lose an item, you can report it as lost. When someone finds the item, they go to the company's website, enter the tag number, and the company arranges for return shipment of the article.
Tags are available in different shapes and sizes, including luggage and keychain tags.

Stuffbak labels are around $2 each, and they charge a $14.95 processing fee for returning items. Boomerangit is slightly different in that it charges a subscription fee (usually 10 years) with the label.

This seems like it would be worthwhile, especially for small tech tools or other items that can be easily lost when on the road.
