The number of status miles you are expected to collect is based on what you earned in the past. It used to be more or less what you earned during the same quarterly period the previous year but now I'm not sure what the target is based on. It certainly seems to be more than what you earned in the same period during the previous year.
So unless you have miles in your account from flying you won't receive this promotion.
