With competition being what it is, here in Switzerland one of the three wireless carriers offers a credit of 0.05CHF per minute for incoming calls. This credit is added onto the balance on your prepaid card, and cannot be cashed in.

No English page, but it basically says that one gets credit for all incoming calls except:
- incoming SMS and emails
- unanswered calls picked up by the voice mail system
- incoming calls while roaming outside of Switzerland

A pretty good deal as far as I am concerned. Besides, they also have the best prepaid rates in this market.

I don't know if similar deals are available in other countries, but I usually find it worth quickly checking the main competitors websites and roaming rates before heading for an extended business trip.
