Likely was their plan. Fly it through the busy summer season then drop it completely in the winter. I think the combination of poor feed and terrible times doomed that flight from the beginning. I'm sure this will irritate many on here, but I fly nonrev on DL and flew the inaugural SEA-HND. I've flown the route a total of three times now and I don't think the loads combined on all three flights would fill ONE 767.

Maybe DL anticiaptes that by time SEA gets enough feed ~2/3 years from now that the skies will open up with HND and they can restart the service. Only time will tell.
