As soon as space opens up for June, I'm going to book a trip to Europe for my partner and me that's 4 years in the waiting. (!) :-D
I'll have just enough miles (200K) to choose between MileSAAver Business & AAnytime Coach.
At 11 months out, I'm basically taking a completely wild guess as to when we'll be available to travel. But my partner's job makes it best to book vacations as far in advance as possible. Honestly...the job even makes it best to leave them flexible (as do things like "seeing people when we get there").
Which is why I'm thinking about abandoning my lifelong dream of realistically trying to sleep on an overnight flight for my first time ever (I can't sleep in a sitting position) to do an AAnytime coach ticket instead.
It looks like there are plenty of planes with 2-seat coach sections, so at least my partner can sleep against the wall and I can be in an aisle to get my awake-all-night wiggle worms out.
But I'd like to poll the crowd mind ...
whaddya think?
- Be sensible and conservative (AAnytime coach)?
- Or splurge and feel pressured to structure our entire vacation around the dates we randomly picked (MileSAAver Business)?
Thanks!
