I was on a trip to Osaka and would like to share that Kansai do have the Yamazaki 18 "Duty Free Limited" at YEN50,000. There are lots of Yama 18 hence I think at 50k it will not be flying off the shelves as fast. Previous duty free prices were 16000.

There is another duty free shop called ASD in Kansai that have great prices for Yoichis. The unfortunate thing was that it closed at 930pm and I was there at 945pm for my flight. I am not sure if there is stock but the prices are fantastic. Would be keen to know if anyone visited ASD in Kansai and see that they have the Yoichis...Drink in Good Health!

i managed to find the last few bottles of the Nikka Miyagikyo 12 from a local store in the Vancouver area.

yes, the yamazaki for that price should sit for a while given you can still hunt around for it. i saw some at masterofmalt in London for around 170 pounds.
