Thanks! So the original must have been 1x23kg, so MMB shows 2x23kg. Flying back with my friends (on BA), I can check 2x32kg then? Perfect!

I checked on IB.com, and it does show that BA/IB/AA Emerals have no overweight bag fee, although I won't be using it outbound.
