yes - i'll be buying an extra legroom seat, more a case of which one. All are presently open.

I got shot down on the other thread for putting the mother and MIL in Y, whilst the freshly minted wife and I travel in F so hoping for some comments about what would be best logistically.
Ordinarily I wouldn't choose row 48... bang on top of the galley, and streams of people during boarding.

However, if you're flying first, there may be advantages having everyone sitting close to each other, and speed for disembarkation for those in row 48.
