They resent my husband's AS itinerary and his first leg (the flight that was cancelled and we were reaccomodated in business though booked in first originally) now says COACH on the AS itinerary.
Same thing with me.
When we key in our BA confirmation codes through the BA site, it shows us in business as re-booked.
Do I need to worry about this?
Same thing happened to me after the cancellation and rebooking. If I look at my trip on the AS website, class of service is confusingly identified as "COACH(A)." I say confusingly because "A" appears to be discounted first and not a coach class of service at all. BA shows us in first, and I've been able to select seats. Talked to the partner desk at Alaska, and was told it had something to do with how the rebooking had to occur (since there weren't award tickets available on that flight). Instead of Z, we're booked in A. No idea why Alaska shows "Coach," but since BA has it right, Alaska can describe it anyway it wants! I wonder what the chances are we'll actually earn miles on that leg? Alaska's partner page notes with respect to partner miles: "Earn actual flight miles flown in A class of service, plus 150% Bonus Miles." I assume the system will catch that this was a mileage ticket notwithstanding the listed class of service, but who knows?
Long and the short, I wouldn't worry about it, but your tolerance for inconsistency may be lower than mine.
