Two retention calls today

Ink Plus: Simply asked if there were any promotions available to offset the annual fee. Quickly offered $95 statement credit. $45k in spend last 12 months, roughly 2/3 MS.

Sapphire Preferred: Card member since 2011, never received any retention offer to offset annual fee. Called and spoke with rep stating I was disappointed 7% dividend was going away after this year. I also stated I was considering moving all my spend to AMEX Gold at 3x airlines and 2x dining. I entertain clients and had nearly $60k in spending over the last 12 months; very little MS. Customer service rep proceeded to rack off all the benefits of the card. I said that I was still pretty sure I would cancel unless there was any sort of promotional offer available. She quickly offered 10,000 UR points, no spend required. I accepted immediately. She said points would post in 1-2 billing cycles.
