In terms of what? The multiple rentals vs one long one?

I guess it's for a couple reasons... The first is that I really value my EE free days as it saves me *tons* of money on one-way trips. I try to maximize the number of credits earned -- back to back rentals count as one credit and 1-7 consecutive days count as one credit.

The other reason is that I genuinely like renting for leisure... I like trying out the new vehicles, especially the nice and sometimes rare ones. I guess to me, the opportunity to swap out vehicles (even if having to make multiple trips to the airport ~10mins away) is well worth it.

For an example, we rarely ever get a nice day. It's either cold or rainy. It's nice to be able to swap up to a convertible when the clouds go away.

This jumping through hoops is really just for leisure rentals though... I also do about 60 business rentals per year and really don't care too much about the vehicle as long as its comfortable, clean, and has bluetooth.
