There is NO DOUBT in my mind that Delta would not exist as an airline today if not for Jerry Grinstien. He got them through the tough times. Anderson has done OK and did a good job with the merger. But it is has been a little easier and the industry as a whole has finally learned its lessons (I think) on increasing capacity, willy nilly.
