Istanbul During Ramadan

I love Turkish food, haven't been there for years, and have been looking forward to a few days in Istanbul at the beginning of July.

Then I looked at the calendar - RAMADAN!

Anyone know what the daytime food options will be? I assume the touristy places will be open, perhaps with curtains drawn. On the other hand, will the restaurants in less touristy places like Kadıköy be closed during the day?

And, will it be possible to get a table when the sun goes down given all the starving people (given that these will be the longest days of the year)?

OK, enough of my blathering and speculation, anyone know what I should expect?

OOPS, I see the title says Ramada, not Ramadan. If a moderator sees this and can change the title, that would be great.
