So, in summary it generally takes two business days/three overnight updates for everything to flow through. Another way track where you might be in the process is to check under 'Executive Club Items' on BA.com, it will show if your status is 'pending' or 'fulfilled'.

(It was actually an MH flight from the 30th May that I was waiting for, the BA flight on the 31st May posted on 1st June)
