So my wife and I have nearly identical credit histories and scores. She did not have a prior card with Barclay. When she called the recon line she was approved for the World Advantage Plus M/C with a 5 k CL. When I called regarding the same card I was declined but instead sent a second Reward M/C with a $1500 CL I already have that same card with a 5k CL. So can I call the Recon line back and ask them to merge the two cards, upgrade to a different card or am I stuck with 2 rewards cards.
