Did the same thing this last weekend ..not even someone I knew ..friend of a friend ...brother died ...family lives in the Bush (McGrath) ..used some miles to get em there and back on PenAir. One of the nice thing about having some reserve miles is a chance to do the occasional good deed.

That being said... sure, a lot of these stories unravel pretty fast. That AA thread mentioned upthread has some gems in it.
