I found an airline number that is an 888 listed on a page of JFK airlines. I was going to try that to see if I can get a US office. Assuming the number doesn't redirect me to China those employees of the airlines who work here are likely much more fluent in english.
You definitely want to reach Guangzhou if you call because those people are the most in tune with things. Poor English and accurate information is far better than the opposite.
