Not everyone in newcastle or manchester knows how to manually enter apis into dcs tbh.
As for India i dont think they read scripts. However i dont think BA has given them adequate training add to that some languge issues things "lost in translation" that i think is where the problems lie.
I have heard that for the same money as one person at MAN or NCL BA can hire four people in DEL!
