Great stay at Ballyfin; explored the vast grounds when we arrived; lovely picnic in the sunshine; afternoon tea and just so relaxing. Dinner and drinks were good and the tour of the house was really interesting. Décor is old fashion as you would expect in an old country home but in no way stuffy; very relaxed in a treat this like your home kinda place. Ballyfin was 75% full but really you wouldn't know it at all... definitely recommend!! ^
