I should be clear that the YYZ-YYC flight on AC1151 is its own seperate leg on different dates from other segments. YYZ is its own stopover and YYC is also.

But the tool shows 2 free bags when I put in the ticket booking reference so I guess it's true!

So... booked with an international ticket from South Africa, you get 2 free checked bags. Awesome.
If I'm not mistaken, isn't each portion of a multi-city trip assessed on its own, i.e. an international portion will receive the international allowance, while a domestic one will receive the domestic allowance ?

Itineraries governed by the US DoT being an exception, of course.
