And you have to pay the standard rate for the Fairmont room, although they will apply a AAA discount to it. There were lower promo rates available, but those were not combinable.
I just checked the nightly rates for my stay in October, and they went down about $60/night. They reduced my rate accordingly. Always pays to check every once in a while.
