It seems as tho CC got a better deal with the overnight queue. The more senior knowledgeable one made it clear that CC is mistaken about the refund email he received. =)
I'm pretty sure it wasn't a mistake as well. The change is completely caused by AC in this case. I have no desire to change my itinerary... so they really could just reinstate the flights as originally booked and everything would be awesome!
