Hi all,

Back with more newbie questions. For my upcoming flights on the 787 I'm in 2A on the way up to BOG and in 1A on the way back down, which is an overnight flight (only 5 hours, but I get in the next day, so...). I love these seats, at least on other airlines, so I know you really can't go wrong, but what is AV's galley config like in relation to the first row? Will 1A get a lot of noise during the flight? I've also read in some older threads that catering used to be very light - one meal after take-off, no pre-arrival snack. Still true?

I've tried and tried to find an actual seat map but no luck, only videos and drawings and other PR kind of things, but no seat map. Anybody know something I don't? I've found one thread with a link that goes to something that isn't a seat map...

Also, after doing my best to search and review threads here, it looks to me like it's not possible to change seats before check-in, unless I call my corp travel dept and ask them to try. Is that true?
