Ah, very good point NickB!

Alas it seems OP is looking for Y awards so those flights won't be ideal even if availabile, given the high YQ.

Unless he can find SFO-DUB-CDG on EI then he's probably best buying elsewhere and saving the Avios for domestics. There's also AB on LAX-DUS but he'd then have to connect again via TXL/VIE to get to PAR.

The other option is via MAD on IB but he'd need an existing active IB+ account to get the good value there.
