It doesn't appear AA codeshares with EY for the AUH-MAA leg. So, you can take the AA/EY flight to AUH for EQP, but the next leg will only get you RDM.

All EY code is the cheapest for the dates I'm seeing at ~$3,700. EK, EY, QR, and AA(EY) are $4,700 - $5,000.
